The position supports a large scale CICS/TS environment running in a zOS parallel SYSPLEX environment with complex multi-tiered applications making heavy use of MRO, IMS, VSAM files and DB2.

Job Responsibilities
A- This function provides technical support to the application development community, performs software implementation, maintenance, certification testing, development and documentation of operational procedures.
B- Problem debugging and root cause analysis, interaction with software vendors.
C- This position will require some off-hours and weekend work as well as rotation in 24 x 7 ONCALL support.
Job Requirements
A- Technical background in the z/OS mainframe arena and knowledge of CICS/TS operation.
B- Experience supporting zOS mainframe products and/or applications.
C– Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
D- General knowledge of zOS mainframe architecture, JCL, TSO, COBOL, CICS Command Level programming, DB2, VSAM would be a plus..
