About Role
This position works out of our location in Lake Bluff, IL.The Legal Assistant will work closely with the Labor & Employment paralegals and attorneys in fast-paced and demanding environment.
1- Labor & Employment Legal Assistant
Full Time
Illinois – Abbott Park, USA
Job Responsibilities
A- Assist paralegals in the discovery process, including assisting with data/document collection, tracking collections, assisting with the interview process, and drafting/sending legal holds.
B- Assist attorneys and paralegals with internal investigations, including working with clients and employees to gather key information and tracking matters received.
C- Assisting paralegals in responding to third-party subpoenas and requests for information, including assisting with bates labeling, redaction and filing.
D- Working with the paralegals and attorneys on special projects and/or additional responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements
A- Minimum of 2 -4 years of experience within a law firm or corporation, in a litigation setting.
B- Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant legal education (Paralegal Certificate preferred).
C- A minimum of four plus years increasingly responsible experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries.
D- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
