Job Responsibilities
A- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, by utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
B- Brings new products into production, designing production lines for NPI and/or validating production lines.
C- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements and workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
D- Designs and implements tooling and fixtures to improve assembly efficiency and quality.
E- Develops and maintains a comprehensive set of work instructions supporting all manufacturing processes and assists in training employees on work instructions.
Job Requirements
A- Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
B- Must be experienced with complex electromechanical systems.
C- Experience with continual improvement processes, kaizen, 5S and root cause analysis.
D- Experience with vendor management in the production of PCB, PCBA, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Having a familiarity with plastic molding and metal forming processes a plus.
E- Experience with setup or maintenance of 3rd party contract manufacturers.
