Job Responsibilities
A- The Data Engineering team focuses on building core Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Solutions for multiple business verticals at Uber like Risk, Money, Payments, Finance and Safety.
B- The team works across multiple areas of Uber including Risk, Fraud, Safety, Insurance, Finance, and AdTech Marketing teams.
C- Our expertise is in large scale distributed batch processing, analytics, data modeling, data visualization, and big data.
Job Requirements
A- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
B- 3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience.
C- Programming and scripting language (e.g. Python, SQL, Java/Scala).
D- Big data frameworks (e.g. Spark, Flink, Presto), data modeling, and writing ETLs.
