About Role
The Anti-Trafficking Initiative (ATI) Supervising Social Worker, supervises the case management service provision for human trafficking survivor clients. In addition, the Supervising Social Worker educates the public, government, social service, legal, medical and law enforcement communities about issues relating to survivors of trafficking and other forms of gender-based violence, and advocates for legislative and policy changes. The Supervising Social Worker also provides clinical counseling services to ATI clients. Finally, as the Supervising Social Worker, the staff in this position supports the Director in overseeing the Anti-Trafficking Initiative support services as a whole.

Job Responsibilities
A- Advocate for clients who are survivors of trafficking and/or commercial sexual exploitation in a wide variety of social systems, including criminal justice, landlord/tenant, public benefits, etc..
B- Provides affidavits and evaluations for immigration and other legal purposes.
C- Responsible for crisis intervention, suicide assessment, safety planning for ATI clients with a focus on trauma, safety and other related issues.
D- Conducts biopsychosocial assessments for legal clients in need of mental health assessments.
E- Supports the Director of the Anti-Trafficking Initiative in the supervision of ATI staff, including case managers and support staff.
Job Requirements
A- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling required; fully licensed preferred.
B- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical and/or program management experience.
C– Excellent judgment and common sense.
D- Experience working in the fields of human trafficking, domestic violence and immigration preferred.
