About Role
The US Sustainable Sourcing Manager – Animal Proteins will play a strategic role in our continued efforts to embed and strengthen sustainability strategies across several of McDonald’s US’s key protein categories, including beef.

Job Responsibilities
A- Lead progress within our supply chain sustainability strategies, including achieving our climate action and regenerative agriculture goals in beef.
B- Identify opportunities for collaboration with suppliers, industry, NGOs, government, and foundations, and develop and maintain relationships with key partners.
C- Influence and engage leading industry and multi-stakeholder organizations. Represent the company at workshops, meetings, and speaking events.
D- Conduct research, analysis, and engage stakeholders as needed to advance data-driven strategies to reach goals.
Job Requirements
A- Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
B- BA/BS required. Master’s degree preferred. Desired specialties include business administration, supply chain management, sustainability, animal science, veterinary medicine, agricultural science, soil health, climate science and accounting, ESG analytics & reporting.
C- Experience working US beef, chicken, dairy, pork, corn and/or soy industries.
D- Knowledge of principles and practices of regenerative agriculture.
