About Role
The PWP R&D Writing system test has an immediate need for a Specialist (M27) writing systems engineer with a color science background. This position includes responsibilities to develop color strategy and create color profiles for the PWP division. Candidates should be proficient with color measurement tools, understand color space and have experience with writing systems for thermal inkjet systems.

Job Responsibilities
A- Designs and validates color management solutions for PWP writing systems based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
B- Develops and implements test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of image quality and color response.
C- Collaborating with other team members to remove calendar roadblocks for key meetings.
D- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal partners (SW, Vision, DFE team), and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Job Requirements
A- BS or higher degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or related field. Typically 4-6 years experience.
B- In-depth knowledge of TIJ WS: page attributes and system interactions (including pen/IDS/arch/ink/media).
C- Minimum 5 years experience in an on-program WS/System integration or color management role.
D- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
